Default Paging Uwe!

Is there a way to launch a dummy ECU data logging screen? I am working on a label file, and it would be great if I could do the coarse editing and testing inside (it's snowing again in MA...)

Of course I will need to try it in the car at some point, but it is a pain to go back and forth while editing.

BTW, the label file I am working on is for the "AK" ECU for the 2002 A6 2.7T. My first revision has field labels that are way too long and hard to read... back to the drawing board. Also, I am incorporating some 2.8 and 4.2 blocks as well to allow testing on other folk's cars. I've highlighted the non 2.7 pages with *** before the heading.

Are you interested in this for inclusion in your label directory?

Let me know.

Default I'm afraid

there's no way to start a dummy screen at the moment. What you need is a nice long extension cord for your interface..:-)

All the 2.7T's are VERY similar. I would suggest you should use one of the existing 2.7T label files (such as 8D0-907-551.LBL) as a reference.

We're always happy to get new label files and add them to the download page (and distribution).

Default I started with the 2001 allroad file

and kept going.

It looks very very close, based on what I found in Bentley and the like.

I did find that the field names were way too long for my liking so I am simplifying everything. Engine Speed has become RPM, etc...

I want to keep it short and sweet!

I'll send it to you when done.
