Question on VAG-COM concerning scan faults
Is there a way to determine at what mileage a fault first appeared for your vehicle? TIA!
- I have an '02 A4 Avant
- I using a HEX+CAN with VAG-COM Release 512.4-D
- Fault found as follows:
Address 08: Auto HVAC
Part No: 8E0 820 043 Q
Component: A4 Klimaautomat 1015
Coding: 00000
Shop #: WSC 63351
1 Fault Found:
01809 - Actuating Motor for Temperature Flap; Left (V158)
41-10 - Blocked or No Voltage - Intermittent

Some (not many) fault codes have Freeze Frame data associated with them:

That module isn't new/smart enough
to have recorded any "freeze frame" data when the fault occurred. So no, there's no way to tell at what mileage the fault first appeared.
