Replacing Steering Wheel Airbag
The steering wheel airbag in my car is rather unsightly. The previous owner has scratched the chrome ring up quite significantly.
I wish to purchase a used airbag in better condition and replace mine with it.
My question is as follows: other than the process of replacing the airbag (disconnecting the battery etc.) do any other changes need to be made. In example, do any VAG COM changes need to be made to accomodate for the new airbag?
To confirm, the airbag has NOT ever deployed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
