for 2000 and newer B5 A4s, this should work...
... go to instruments. Go to code control module. Write down that number. Subtract 1 from the first two digits and store that number.
example: you might find 13234... you want to subtract 1 from 13. So the number you would store would be 12234.
I see too that you can disable the low washer fluid warning.
I've never tried either of these. Your results may vary. Do this at your own risk.

don't know...
... with the code set to zero, they are disabled... by adding the values, you make them active... by subtracting the same value from the addition, you disable them. At least thats how other modules work.
Did you try it for your washer fluid warning? I'll give it a try and see, next time my warning comes on.
I just looked on my car and I don't have 01 or 04 set... no washer or brake warnings... but I get the washer fluid warning... so this might not work on 2000+ cars.
