Default Steering angle sensor calibration issues with Vag com

Ok I've searched the forum and read the how to on Rosstechs website. For the life of me I can not get it to calibrate. I have set the WSC to the last service station that was listed in the abs computer. The procedure on Vag com's website is pretty vague and I must be doing something wrong to not be able to calibrate it. I turn the wheel from the straight position to the right one full turn, then turn one for turn back to center.... I procede to drive about 100ft in a straight line, and then log in to vagcom and try to set the center position, but instead I get an error message stating that the steering angle sensor is not ready or something along those lines. What am I doing wrong?
