Check the tranny control module for faults, also check the CAN communication.

Default It's an 02, so no CAN....

But the whole valve body was replaced about 6 months ago under warranty as the Tranny Temp Sensor was faulty and some solenoids were sticking.

First time I've scanned since then, so I cleared the code and will give it a week and rescan it. There was no fault codes in the tranny.

Default *scratching head* Ross-Tech doesn't list B6 as having CAN Diagnostics?

So that's why I bought a KEY-USB... am I missing out on something here? <ul><li><a href="http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/canbus.html">http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/canbus.html</a</li></ul>

Not talking about can diagnostics here. What I'm talking about is CAN between the control modules.

Default That's what I was thinking... next logical question, how do I check that?

Or is that a job of actually inspecting wirimg?

MVB (Meas. Value Block) 125+ in most control modules shows the current CAN communication status.
