Swapped instrument cluster, now no radio info in center display...
Just changed out my cluster in my 01 because of the dead cluster pox... I still need to code the cluster but I don't think that it has anything to do with the cluster not showing the radio info... The radio is coded to show the info but it just doesn't show up! The center display is good... Is there anyway in VAGCOM to show the info or see if it is present?

Where did you get the replacment IC from, new or used?
Does the MFI information display OK? A4 ICs have an adaptation channel to select if DIS1 and DIS2 display or not, and if long term memory is active etc, maybe that is involved here. Have you checked references for coding and adaptation settings?

I got it new/used...
It was only used for a few months which was brand new from the dealer... And is the DIS1 or DIS2 a soft coding or adaptation? I have coded the cluster and it still isn't there... I will check the adaptation channels, but haven't heard of this DIS1 or DIS2 thing...
