VAG-Cable with other OBDII interfaces

VAG-Cable with other OBDII interfaces
I have smart interface cable but I am unable to use it with most non-VAG cars to utilize generic OBDII options, is there a software that can use existing cable and be able to pull the codes?

Our hardware only support the ISO and/or CAN standards:
