There are tons of posts on here and other forums listing coding for Q5/B8 Audis; are these codes universal(for ALL Audi models inc my Q7) Thanks and apologies if this question has been asked before, i searched but could not find anything helpful.

Im looking to add 'emergency flashing rear brake lights' as well as incresing the intensity of the LEDs and having the LEDs stay on at full when the marker lights are on. My windows up/down via remote hasn't really worked since i last Vag'd it. they have a comprehensive list over on AZ but it seems specific for B8's.

My remote windows up/down didn't work until I cleared a fault code on the Cent/Conv module [46]. It was an intermittent over-temp fault. Once cleared, everything worked as expected. Haven't seen this issue discussed, so hope it helps someone else out.

I have that intermittent over-temp as well in the same module. What causes that?

Don't know what causes the over-temp fault, unless it got too hot. I may ask (if I remember) on my 5K visit. Haven't had the fault return just yet, but alas I live in Washington (state) and we have had on appreciable heat just yet.
