Vag-com download issue
So I paid my $250.00 for key-usb figuring I could use my work laptop on my Audi's. I downloaded the software from the Rosstech site and everything installed except at the very end I got message that I couldn't install "hardware" on the computer without admin privileges. I belive it is calling the "drivers" hardware. Any advice?

Do you have Admin rights on the laptop? Any "nanny" programs running?

I do not have admin rights to the laptop. Specifically, it is the DPInst that won't install. Do I need that to run the program? The VCDS main screen installed and runs.

Re: Are you using Vista? What version of VAG?
Can you check if the user that is log on in Windows has administrator permissions?
It looks like the VCDS software has to interact or install any driver that requires Admin permissions. If you don't know how to check it let me know and I'll guide you.
