I recently purchased the Ross-Tech vag-com hex-can, downloaded the software.
I ran an auto-scan on my 02 B6 3.0 Quattro and it does not scan the engine or trans, it seems to try 3 times then moves on to the next scan?
I did read on a thread hear something about an aftermarket radio, the prevs. owner had a radio installed, could that cause an issue?


Am I missing something? Any ideas?

Yeah, try selecting the car from the drop down menu, Jim.

Yes I did select the correct car. I did not at 1st and it did nothing it would not connect at all.

No the engine was not running, is it supposed to be?

No. Not for the software to recognize the vehicle.
