VAGCOM / VCDS NEAR Stoke-on-Trent
Is there anyone in or near to the stoke-on-Trent area that has VAGCOM or VCDS? It's just that Audi want £40 to 're-code' my Concert II stereo to activate the CD changer so I can use the genuine ipod adapter! If there is a VAGCOM/VCDS owner who lives close to the stoke area I am prepared to offer some £ if you are able to do this for me. Failing that, does anyone know of a different method (apart from purchasing a different audio interface) to enable the CD changer function on the Concert II stereo? Thanks.

Do you know what KeithUK will be able to help me with? Re-programming the head unit to accept the iPod adaptor or using VAGCOM / VCDS or advice on a different method for using the iPod adaptor? Also, can you tell me how I can get in touch with him? Usually you aren't able to PM someone initially after forum registration. Thanks for your quick reply. I have a VW iPod adaptor kit & I'm fitting it into my 2004 A3, I don't suppose you know anyone who has the genuine ipod adaptor installed using the mini ISO connector, either the VW version or the Audi version as I'm pretty sure they're the same but for 1 wire & that's what I'm having an issue with at the moment. Any help is appreciated.
