Default What are those options for? On B5 2001 2.8l

These come straight from the Ross-Tech website(link below)
They are mods you can do with Vag-Com, but I'm not sure what they do, and I don't want to trial and Error!! Can you explain me what they are for please?

1. Engine: -- KWP-1281

Idle Speed Adaptation

and

Throttle Body Adaptation:

Are those the settings you may change so there's no lag in my titronic tranny?

http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/audiB5.html</a

Default TBA is not a mod.

It's a maintenance procedure which needs to be done for the ECU to re-learn the throttle position sensors under certain circumstances. See link below.

Idle speed may or may not be adjustable via adaptation channel 01 in the engine -- depends on the exact engine and ECU.

Default No, it requires programming changes..

A while back, I emailed one of the outfits that produced aftermarket tiptronic software, to see if it was possible to make the A4 shift faster, and if they were coming out with software for the current A4.
The answer was that it COULD be fixed with new software, but they had no plans to produce it.

My response was to buy an A3 with DSG.. (Late May delivery)
