I imagine that you guys get this kind of question often. So, I hope that someone will answer for the upteenth time. Last year I bought a 99 A8. I have a laptop and am wading into this VAG-COM thing. I want a Ross-Tech with a proper licence, but I certainly don't need a new one. In fact, it looks to me like just about any version will do me. I do, however, want a USB connector. So:
1. Where do I keep an eye out? (I noticed the one on e-bay.)
2. What is good price for second hand one with a proper licence and connector?
3. Is there anything else I need to know?
4. If the license is not transferrable then what is a good price for the rest of the required stuff?
