2001 Audi A6 2.7TQM Sport 114k
2001 Audi A6 2.7 Turbo Quattro Manual Sport with ~114k miles. Factory sport package includes sport seats and suspension, and custom rims. Koni sport struts/shocks were added at ~75k miles. The car has a remapped ECU (GIAC X) and the pre-cats were gutted by TyrolSport, which also did the timing belt. The car has never been dynoed, but likely puts out ~320bhp.
I am the second owner and have owned the car since 2004 when I purchased it from Audi of Mendham, NJ as a CPO car. Why such low mileage? The car was never daily driven. I used to live in NYC where the car was garaged and only used it on weekends. Thereafter, the car has been garaged indoors in NJ and used even less frequently. The car is currently in Huntington, Long Island, NY.
The car has been well maintained (Mobil 1 at regular intervals, timing belt was done at ~70k miles). Nonetheless, as one would expect of a car of this vintage, there are a handful of issues with the car that should be addressed, but that do not affect its driveability:
•There is a slight leak from one of the oil lines to one of the turbochargers (Note the turbos themselves are fine, and the car achieves full boost). The amount of oil leaking is quite small (Bruno's Quattro in Queens said it was more an irritant than a serious problem).
•The digital display is beginning to fade as is common in these cars.
•The driver's side electric window mechanism should be replaced. It works, but not well enough.
•The front fog lights do not work.
•Rear brake pads may need to be replaced.
•There is a small crack on the lower right part of the front windshield.
This is a great car for an Audi enthusiast. Investing a small amount of money will result in a car that can do another 100k miles.
Reasonable offers will be considered.
