2002 BT 1.8TQMS
149k one adult owner mile "Big Turbo" - Fast, Stiff, Low and a bit loud. Denim blue pearl effect over Onyx leatherette with Factory HID lights and Sports package. Company is forcing relocation to a state with very restrictive rules this year, so can't take it with me Not sure of what market price should be. Have over $10k in mods, with over $3,000 in updates within the last year, but also realize market realities. If seriously interested, make an offer. Worst case I can keep it and make a track car out of it!
Features:
- Brand new Garrett GTX2863 turbo ($1,832)
- ATP high flow exhaust manifold
- REVO Big Turbo software
- SPS+ software selector
- Evolution Raceworks Front mount (Race) intercooler ($1,400 not including installation)
- Delphi/Lucas (Disc style) 42lb injectors
- Denso Iridium plugs
- Forge DV
- Neuspeed TIP
- Test pipe
- Modified APR/Billyboat exhaust
- Lightweight flywheel (steel)
- 6 puck metallic clutch
- Boost gauge/pod
- SAI delete
- Intake insulator gasket (reduced heat transfer to intake)
- V6 version air inlet snorkel (more airflow)
- K&N filter in modified factory air box
- Koni Coiler kit (~25" ride height)
- Authentic Oettinger front bumper, modified with custom grills and no fog lights ($1,100 before paint)
- Painted rear lowers
- Passat W8 one-piece front under tray
- Rear Lip Spoiler
- RS rep wheels
- Vac line cleanup/delete
- S4 rear swaybar
- Lightest weight possible; No sunroof and under-hood plastic decorative items removed
- Corner weighted for improved cornering with me in the car.
The good
- Brand new turbo! - The newest turbine geometry Garret GTX2863 good for 425hp (mine is tuned for low-mid 300hp range for longevity)
- New alternator
- Only Castrol Edge oil used with high capacity filter
- Engine uses NO oil. Changed at 3,000-5,000 intervals based on oil condition rather than miles
- Coolant is fresh as of April 1
- Diff and trans fluids are fresh (Redline synthetic)
- New brake rotors and pads within 6 months.
- New tires in the last year
- New wheels in the last year
- Timing belt with water pump and all pulleys replaced at 120k
- Refreshed coil packs
- Almost all highway miles (My home and work are both right off the freeway)
- Interior in great shape, much better than average with no peeling switch gear.
- Most original stock parts that were removed are included.
- Photo documentation of most of the mods/refreshes
- De-badged except for Audi rings on the trunk lid. Still have the "A4 1.8T" badges however.
The bad
- Its gotten a good sandblasting in the front going up and down the freeway. Could use a respray in the front
- Antenna amplifier for the radio not working, so no FM reception. 6 disc changer works fine.
- Due to mods, engine light is on (from removing SAI). I have the original SAI pump and plumbing if desired to return to factory function, but would also need a new high flow cat.
- Ding in the dash trim on passenger side, but no other interior blemishes
