Well, I have decided to part with my S8. I drive it very little and this beast needs to be driven! The car is immaculate, I have been working on getting it running right over the past 5 months and it purrs like a kitten now! Dealer serviced, Atlanta area; we can put it up on the rack and you can have the tech walk you through the car:
- carbon clean done
- all new engine gaskets
- valve cover
- coil packs
- new manifold (warranty item)
- 2 new O2 sensors
- OEM battery (first one lasted 7 years)

VCDS lowered 10mm in front, spacers also included (15mm rear, 12 mm fronts H&R) Highly optioned with $6,500 B&O Digital Audio, with pop up tweeters.....none better, CD player, Nav, Sat. No IPOD connect but can add. Dark window tints including front windshield and turn signal tints. Sports pkg, premium leather including extended dash (this plus B&O option was about $10,000 alone), dual climate control, power rear and manual side shades, loaded. Exterior and interior LED light package added, and USB chargers front and back. Also:
- Seat belt chime delete mod
- Carbon fiber trim pkg
- Rear seat power lumbar supports
- Interior gorgeous black/lt gray, flawless.

Beautiful, Fast and Sexy, and priced sightly higher than most because I don't think you will find another 2 owner S8 in this condition, and with carbon clean done. Don't buy one without! Reduced Now $32,995

Only things I am aware of that are small issues (3):
- soft close door feature either inactive or does not work driver and front passenger sides (actuator issue likely), widely reported issue on forum
- light vertical scratch on bumper, can barely see
- before I purchased, car had been lightly dented in rear driver side quarter panel, but no air bags deployed, nothing like that, and I could barely tell any work done there had it not been pointed out to me, so had no impact on my decision to purchase.

sorry, I thought I would get an automated message to email telling me I had a message. 4 driving modes: It is 6speed auto, with paddles, sport mode, and manual shifting (no clutch). Really outstanding options for those mild days or when you want to run through the gears.

Thanks, the FSi engines sometimes (like frequently and reported as common problem) build up carbon deposits on valves. So you want to make sure if you buy any Fsi engine that you error on the side of caution and buy one that's had a documented carbon clean for optimal performance. It's usually anywhere between $800-1500 if a dealer does it. Just FYI.
