2008 D3 A8L Black over Espresso 71k miles
Up for sale is my 4 owner 2008 D3 Audi A8L with ~71,700 miles on the odometer. It features Brilliant Black exterior paint over the rare Espresso leather interior. I purchased the car in July 2015 from Audi North Scottsdale. I have all service records since new and the car has been maintained diligently its entire life. No accidents, clean CARFAX, and clear title in hand.
This A8L is well optioned:
- Sport & Premium packages
- Sport steering wheel
- Heated / ventilated / massaging front seats
- Rear climate control & heated seats
- Rear sunshade
- Solar sunroof
- Power trunk lid
- 20” S8 wheels
- Park distance control with backup camera
- Dynamic headlights
- Soft close doors
- Deleted rear badges
Since my ownership, I have put ~10k miles on the car. Miles will continue to increase because this is my daily driver. When I first took delivery of the car, it was apparent that the previous owner neglected some needed suspension work due to some cupping on the inner edges of the front tires. I replaced the front passenger air strut (Arnott lifetime warranty replacement), front passenger tie rod ends, 4 wheel alignment, and dismounted / swapped sides / re-balanced all tires. Other maintenance completed under my ownership include: front brake pads, brake fluid change, replacement of leaky washer fluid pumps, thermostat, and oil / filter changes every 5k miles with Castrol Professional LL03 5w30.
The outstanding issues include: minor rock chips and paint flaws from daily driver duties, tires will need to be replaced soon, soft touch on MMI control is bubbling, noisy window regulators (all 4), rear side sunshades don’t extend completely, and the truck does not pop sometimes when it’s really hot outside.
Overall, this Audi A8L is super clean and well maintained. Besides the tires which I recommend budgeting for in the near term, there are no mechanical issues preventing you from enjoying this vehicle.
