New Wiring Harness, Thermal Resistor and Relay
Make Installation Simply 'Plug and Play'

Arnott Air Suspension Products announced it has made the installation of the Air Suspension Compressor for the 1999 through 2005 Audi allroad quattro and Audi A6 quattro (C5 Chassis) a simple 'Plug & Play' operation by including a new wiring harness with thermal resistor and relay.

The compressor, manufactured by WABCO, replaces OE Part Number 4Z7616007A. The Arnott Part Number remains P-2134, and it retails for $505.05. The part is backed by Arnott's Limited Two-Year Warranty.

The Arnott Advantage

P-2134 is the same air compressor used by Audi, and includes a dryer, new airline fittings, plus powder-coated mounting brackets. Unlike the previous version, which required cutting of cables and connectors to reuse the OE power cables, the pump now includes a relay and new wiring harness with thermal resistor for a faster installation. If you have not used Arnott yet, I highly recommend them. I've used their parts for years on Range Rovers, always better and less expensive than the OEM stuff. A lot of what they make is unobtainable (or nearly so) from the manufacturer

Stubborn, but Happy

I see this thread is a year old, but perhaps Doug will pick up on it and enlighten me.

This week I received the updated Arnott compressor (purchased from Rock Auto), but the harness supplied doesn't fit the original 2001 allroad wiring connections. It's Saturday night, and I'm wondering if I should just cut the wires and connect to the OE fittings (which incidentally came with a Continental/Wabco unit, part #15.1550.0010.2).

I'd be done and enjoying my weekend had the unit truly been 'plug and play'.
