Default Mark March 18-21 on your calendar for a little Audi Corral Sebring Sunshine

As part of this year's 57th 12 Hours of Sebring, the Audi Club of Florida's scheduled corral activities, in conjunction with the debut of the all new R15 TDI prototype, will include one grand parade lap of a "History of Progress" to be held Friday March 20th. If you are planning to attend the corral, you just might want to consider driving or hauling your older Audi, Horch, NSU, Wanderer, DKW, and if you have an old NSU, DKW or Wanderer motorcycle, that would be more icing on the cake. If you own an NSU bicycle, you will be on top of the cake. Vehicles will be organized by build date, with the oldest Auto Union or Audi vehicle being first, then progressing through the years to the newest iteration of the R8. Participants will follow the pace car and hopefully an NSU bicycle riding, on a roof carrier, as they complete the historic 3.7 mile circuit. After the first lap, the older cars or those who do not want to participate, may exit the circuit before the second lap begins.

Participation in this historic event is strictly limited and you will need to purchase Audi Motorsport Experience credentials for the corral at the following address: audiexp.com. Credentials are now available. These passes will not include admission to the race track - please visit Sebringraceway.com to secure your event access credential. Trackside corral parking will be available on a first come first served basis for Audi vehicles in good working order ONLY. Non-Audi vehicles will not be allowed to park in the trackside corral at any time. Overflow parking for the remaining vehicles will be located in the Audi overflow parking lot behind the Audi New Car Display. On Friday and Saturday, food and beverages will be included along with a trackside Speisegarten with chairs, tables and umbrellas, Friday "Shine and Show Concourse d'Elegance" competition, drawing for Hot Pit access, a private Audi Professional Driver meet and greet, Technical Discussion, live race feed, a little swag, air conditioned restroom, and of course, the priceless camaraderie of fellow Audi enthusiasts. So time is of the essence, the number of Audi Motorsport Experience credentials is limited and have quickly been a sell out the past two years. Follow the attached link for purchase information, http://www.truthinengineering.com/audiexp/.

If you have any questions regarding the "History of Progress" lap, or if you will be hauling a vehicle, please contact me at bob@audiclubfl.com. We will also need your vehicle build date for the parade lap logistics. All vehicles must be capable of being driven for a single lap, except for the NSU bicycle if we find one-that will be on a roof carrier atop an Audi of course. All motor vehicles must be licensed and insured. Other questions regarding the purchase of Audi Motorsport Experience credentials should be directed to Audi Motorsport at andrew@audiexp.com

Cheers, safe motoring and hope to see you at the races.

Bob Greving,
Audi Club of Florida Interim President
