Default 18" tire max size?

Hey guys, I am buying new wheels (18" B7 RS4 replicas) and I am putting them on my B5 S4 sedan. I am lowered on eibach springs/shocks. (not sure of the drop but not extreme) What would the recommended tire size for this rim/vehicle combo be with no rubbing issues? Thanks alot in advance!

Thanks! Got the order changed from 225-45-18's to 225-40-18. BTW I have 25" fender to ground clearance on 225-45-17's

Default You didn't mention whether they're Purems or Achtuning, which have 8.5" and 8" widths respectively.

I run 245/35/18 on my et32, 8.5"-width BBS and rolled fenders, 25.5" ride height with no rubbing.

Yep. 225/45/17 is the SAME as 225/40/18 as far as outside diameter of tire.

it also depends on offset and tire brand. Typically 245 will rub.

225's just look too narrow on an 8.5" wheel to me. Prolly depends on the brand somewhat...

At a 25" ride hight and no rolled fenders..... that may be the only option.
