Default 2010 A5 tires question

I have this car in 2.0T and love it but my summers need replacing. I have heard the Michelin Pilot SS are a great tire and I am leaning that way but my question is what size can I go up to in order to get a bit softer a ride. I have 255/35 ZR19's and wonder if anyone has gone with a wider sidewall. I know this is a real nubie question and may be counter intuitive, but I love the look of my 19's but have real back pain issues and could use a bit softer a ride than the stock tires. Any help would be appreciated...

I would agree that the Michelin Pilot Super Sport is indeed a top choice for a summer performance tire. In addition to 255/35R19, you can also use 265/35R19 on the A5 as well.
