Hello, I am new to the forum!

I have a 2007 A4 Quattro Base model. This is my (our) 2nd Audi, but I have been a water cooled VW guy for a long time. I have done several Mark I GTI's and a couple Mark II Jetta GLI's, a tattoo, etc.!

I know this has most likely been cover, and I have spent a couple days looking, but I want to make sure. I found a set of what is being described as 2012 A5 18" wheels/tires on CL for $750. I am trying to find out if they will fit my (our) B7 A4 Base model. It has 17" stock alloys now with winter tires and I am looking for a summer set so I don't have to pay for mounting and balancing twice a year.

Here is a pic of one of the wheels I'm looking at. Will it fit the stock B7? Do I need spacers/rings, or do I need to lower it? Sorry, not a wheel guy and also a Newbie to up-sizing wheels. Thanks in advance everyone!
