What tires are best for my Audi? High performance or luxury Touring Tires?

I purchased the Michelin Premier AS tires a week ago and wondering if I traded comfort and quiet for performance. I know the Michelin tires are one of the best but think they took away from the sportiness of my car. They are great on the wet roads but don't seem as responsive on turns and acceleration as my old tires which were Continentals- a performance type. I live in Texas so winter tires are not so important.

Hey Raj - looking at an A6 prestige with 20'' sport package. I live in chicago - we get lots of snow. Car looks amazing with them, thinking of buying and swapping out with all season tires. I don't need high performance tires that will be a mess in the snow. How does yours drive with all-weather tires? Did the ride soften up a bit or is that not likely to change since they are 20'' rims and it's meant to be a stiffer ride.
