gary...what tire for b5 s4 track days..

can I add that I would like to drive the tire to and from the track. Car is completely stock.

I'm surprised the RE-01R hasn't gotten more attention on AW than it has.

No one ever really talks about it. I don't even know anyone that has 'em. Do you have any first-hand experience?

No first hand experience :-( Price isn't bad either for this type of tire.

I was out sick.

225/45R17 and the tires that JPrice suggested would all be good choices for a very aggressive street tire that would be okay on the track. For tires that would be just barely street legal but very good on the track check out the Avon Tech R, Hoosier R6 and Michelin Sport Cup.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR8&url=/tires/index.jsp">Tires</a></li></ul>
