Default Help me pick out some wheels

Hey guys new here. Tried searching and it's hard to find exactly what I'm looking for. I drive a 2013 b8.5 a4. It currently is on stock 18s. I live in Michigan where the roads suck and wanna run 19s. The profile doesn't seem too extreme when I used the calculator they have .4 less side wall than my current 18s and .2 less than the wheels I had on my old cc which were also 18s which held up fine. Am I going too aggressive?

im looking to spend under 1500 for wheels. I'm torn between avant garde, vmr, rotiform, water cooled, fond metal, cheaper bbs options. What is gonna be tough and hold up well? Weight isn't a concern for me.

And for the guys in areas with bad roads how are the 19s holding up?

With 18's you get less looks, great comfort, good performance
With 19's you get better looks, worse comfort, slightly worse performance(added weight), transmission may also get a bit jerky.

Find the ET, width and center bore of your stock wheels then if you go aftermarket - ET, width, center bore must be exactly the same or ride will suffer. I went once through 3 different aftermarket sets on my clk320 before i found stock amg wheels that made the ride excellent.
