They bolt on. I know Mercedes used 66.6mm hub bore but I don't know if your Q5 is 66.6mm or 57.1mm hub bore. If your Q5 has 57.1 hub bore, I would recommend some hub centric rings so you don't feel vibration at higher speeds. Also recommend aluminum rings, they hold up better.
Now I think the ML runs a very high offset, you might have to run some spacers.

Not expensive but will save you a lot of aggravation on trying to fix a vibration problem.
