Hello. My B8 S4 is lowered on KW Coilovers with Forgestar F14 wheels, 19x10 et41 and Hankook V12 Evo2 255/35/19s . I bought it this way from previous owner. I am trying to look at future tire needs and what I should do.


The measurements for my 255 tires are below:




The tires are at the end of the 10 inch rim width specs. They are a bit stretched, but not to bad.


I am trying to determine if I can go to 265s next tire replacement, and be ok with strut clearance. If I am looking at the difference between tire width measurements correctly, the tread and section width aren't much wider. There seems to be a .4 inch section width and tread width increase.

Question: Would I divide the total increase by 2 (allow for .2 increase on inside and outside?) Or would there be more of an increase on the inside, than the outside?

Question: How can I tell how much space I've got currently between the strut and tire? Is the only way to put it on a lift? Or would just using a jack be able to see it?
