Winter tires/wheels for 2016 TTS
Just got a beautiful new 2016 TTS with the Audi Sport 20" 10 spoke Y design wheels and summer tires.
I'll need to get winter tires in a couple months but winter tires on these wheels but it doesn't seem right to use these wheels in snow.
Any ideas for good-looking wheels and winter tires?
I could go off-brand on the wheels, maybe in a 18" or 19" size, any suggestions here?
This TTS also has the red brakes showing through so any wheels would have to accommodate that lack of depth.
Thanks!

The Tire Rack is a great place to start...
… I have gotten over a dozen sets of tires and wheels from them over the years… I work with Tucker.
Having had a TT, I always recommend a -1 or -2 sizing for snow tires as the roads beat up on winter wheels and more sidewall gives better flex to aid in traction. Tire Rack folks will know what will fit over the calipers. As far as style - as few "blades" as possible as cleaning wheels in the winter is a pain and the more finicky the wheel design, the bigger pain it is. You want something that can have a squirt of waterless car wash/detailer and then wipe clean, as temperatures may be near or below freezing.
I spent forty years in New England and always had my extra set of winter tires and wheels - loved the Michelin Arctic Alpin (sic), Nokian Hakkapaliitta, and Bridgestone Blizzak fitments…
Happy Choosing

That's great info and recommendation Eric! Hadn't thought about the finicky wheel design for winter, good point. Have heard good things about the Nokians too.
Thanks

We have not yet put our hands on a new 2016 TTS, so I don't have any wheel fitments to offer. We MAY be able to go down to 18" wheels for winters, but won't know for sure until we measure the car. If you have just taken delivery, than our local dealer should have an example soon.
