3. Tech Features

As standard, the Q7 features technology capable of auto-braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, and blind spot monitoring. The Q7 will detect oncoming cars when approaching an intersection and brake to avoid a collision if the driver tried to make a turn. While driving on a busy freeway, a driver can activate Traffic Jam Assist that reads traffic ahead and keeps pace with it when going under 40 mph. The Q7 will autonomously drive with this feature, knowing when to accelerate, brake and steer by itself. The adaptive cruise control works in partnership with GPS that will alert and slow down the car in a speed zone, for example. There's even a feature called trailer assistant that will self-steer and back up the car when a trailer is attached.

4. Interior Comfort

The MMI interface hasn't changed much, but you will find the large touch pad, capable of navigating between Apple Car Play and Android Auto and more, in the Q7. The front driver and passenger seats have a massage feature in addition to their climate control capabilities. Passengers in the second row can also control their desired climate through the individual bezels, and third-row passengers will also enjoy the large glass roof that extends fully open. The second and third-row seats can be raised or lowered by the touch of a few buttons, making utilizing the trunk space that much easier and quicker.

5. Exterior Touches

Along with the six different drive modes, the driver can also raise the Q7's ground clearance by almost 2.5 inches. Another great feature is the foot-sensor liftgate opener which is most convenient when your hands are full. There's a sensor underneath the rear bumper that activates with the detection of foot movement.
