1. Plenty to choose from

While an all-inclusive warranty is still available, there are other coverage plans to suit every need -- ranging from vehicle service contract plan to term care select, guaranteed asset protection plan, road hazard tire and wheel protection, and more. The idea behind all these options? To find the right plan for the right driver, and the right budget. If you are looking to purchase one through a third-party then the plan will be called an Audi vehicle protection plan.

2. Audi vehicle accessories warranty

Believe it or not, Audi covers all of its vehicle accessories under the Audi Accessories’ limited warranty. This is tremendous because it not only gives you the peace of mind that smaller accessory purchases are covered it also shows consumers that Audi has the utmost confidence in every facet of their business.

3. Terms of the Audi New Vehicle Limited Warranty have not changed

They are, and still remain as, four years or 50,000 miles -- whichever covers first. There was some suggestion online a while ago that these terms have changed, but the company has not altered them. Pray that they don't alter them at all.

4. The warranty is valid only in the area within which it was purchased

So, if you purchase an Audi warranty in the United States, it is applicable only in that country. Authorized Audi dealers in any other country (like, say, Canada), are under no obligation whatsoever to provide warranty service. Your best bet in these instances is to contact your local Audi dealer and have them make arrangements on your behalf.

5. The peace of mind is worth the investment

Audi’s are terrific vehicles, and consistently rank among the top car brands year after year. So, they make a good investment when it comes to quality and luxury, but when they start to fall apart, as all cars do over time, Audi parts are expensive to replace. A warranty will relieve you of much of the financial distress that a breakdown, ABS brakes blown, or malfunctioning stereo will inevitably cause. Be sure to carefully look over any extended warranty that is put in front of you to see what is classified as "breakdown" or just "wear and tear".
