1. 2016 S8

Getting off to a blistering start is the brand new S8 model that is no slouch by any means whatsoever. The S8 puts out 605 horsepower and has a top speed of 189.5 mph to get the S8 from zero to hero in 3.3 seconds. Being the top of the range has its perks, as the S8 is the vehicle that has the best bits from Audi that will eventually trickle down to the lower models.

2. 2017 TT RS

The TT RS shakes off any misconceptions about the TT being a car for hairdressers or anything of the ilk. Under the hood is a 2.5-liter turbo pushing out 395 horsepower. For the top speed in this model, the car reigns things in at a healthy 175 mph. Once you get in a straight line and break out the stopwatch app on your phone, you can try to match your time to the pros at 3.7 seconds.

3. RS5 Cabrio

The first of two drop tops to grace this list is the RS5 convertible that allows you to take your muscled up two-door and enjoy the weather as it embraces you. The great thing about driving this type of car in a postcard-like setting is that you become a part of the scenery instead of just an observer. This vehicle tops out at 174 mph but enjoys hitting 60 in 4.9 seconds on the asphalt. 450 ponies running around in a 32-valve eight-cylinder engine is what you're in for, kicking, roaring and ready to go.

4. 2015 RS5

The RS5 is what happens when Clark Kent has had enough of working at The Daily Planet and decides to duck into a booth for a Superman makeover. The hard as tacks coupe packs 450 horsepower from a NA 4.2 liter V8 that loves to slap the redline badlands. The ope speed is unfortunately (or fortunately) limited to 178 mph, which is still nothing to sneeze at.

6. RS7 Performance

The RS7 is my personal pick for what a more than capable sports sedan should be: rakish lines that fit right in while still standing out simultaneously, and an engine that calls you bad words if you go more than two moments without pressing the fun pedal.  The RS7 has an 8-speed automatic and pushes out 605 horsepower with a top speed of 190 mph!

5. R8 4.2

Equipped with a V8 and making its debut in Iron Man, the R8 was a powerful pump of new blood into Audi that heralded a coming out party for the brand. The top speed is 185 mph, and the zero-to-sixty time on it is 4.6 seconds. These numbers may seem slow now for the sports car, but when it first hit the auto show floor back in 2007, this car was a force to be reckoned with. Striking good looks that caused many to pause, and the craftsmanship of Audi showed the world its poise.

7. R8 Spyder 5.2

The Spyder version of the last gen R8 comes out on top of his coupe brethren by 1 whole horsepower to have a top speed of 186 mph. Just because the R8 has lost its top doesn't mean it has lost the speed by any stretch of the imagination, with 430 horses on tap and a 0-60 time of the 4.6.

8. R8 V10 Plus

The current R8 is the crowning glory from Audi, and there is no real need to wonder why after getting a load of these numbers. The base V10 puts out 610 horsepower, says "hi" to 60 in as low as 2.7 seconds, and then continues to pin you in the seat as it reaches towards its top speed at 205 mph! However, the V10 model pictured above is not the ordinary model; it is the Plus Selection 24h edition that was made in limited quantities to celebrate Audi Racing victories in the GT-3 class.
