Audi to Offer Factory-Installed XM Satellite Radio on Audi A8 and Audi TT Models for 2005 Model Year

WASHINGTON, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — XM Satellite Radio (NASDAQ:XMSR) , the nation’s leading provider of satellite radio with more than 2.1 million subscribers, today announced that Audi, one of the world’s leading automobile manufacturers, will offer XM Radio as a factory-installed feature on Audi A8 and Audi TT models for the 2005 model year.

The Audi models with factory-installed XM will come with a 90-day trial subscription to the XM service, which offers more than 130 digital radio channels of commercial-free music and premier news, sports, talk, and entertainment programming from coast to coast. XM subscribers pay a monthly fee of $9.99

In addition to offering factory-installed XM Radio on A8 and TT models, Audi offers XM as a dealer-installed feature on its A4, S4, A6, RS, A8, and allroad quattro models.

Customers can now place orders for the 2005 Audi models with factory- installed XM at Audi dealerships across the continental U.S. The models will start arriving at dealerships this month.
