Reports September Sales - Best Ever Certified Pre-Owned Result

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Audi of America, Inc. sales for the month of September were 5,835 compared to 6,256 in September 2003. Year-to-date Audi sales are 57,299.
Increases were realized year-over-year in the A4/S4 and A4/S4 Cabriolet ranges as well as Audi's all-aluminum flagship the A8. In the A4/S4 model range, sales were 3,483 vs. 3,146 for a 10.7 percent increase. Interest in Audi A4/S4 Cabriolet's ran high with a 25.7 percent increase year-over-year (621 vs. 494). A8 sales were 530 this September vs. 520 one year ago for a 1.9 percent rise.
Audi Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) enjoyed its best month ever 2,436 units sold for the month of September, a 23.7 percent increase over last year same month. Year-to-date CPO sales are 18,315, up 16.5 percent from 2003 year-to-date sales of 15,720.
