Audi Canada Reports 2004 Results

AJAX, ON, Jan. 4 /CNW/ – Audi Canada sold 7,422 units in 2004, slightly down from the 7,861 units sold in 2003.
Sales of the Audi A4/S4 Cabriolet improved in 2004, showing an increase of 7.6% in sales. 454 units were sold in 2004 compared with 422 sold in 2003.

Sales of the A8 continued to improve this year. Overall, the A8 finished the year at 290 units sold, a 42.2% increase over the 2003 sales of 204 units. The addition of both a normal wheelbase A8 with the 4.2 litre V8, and the new W12 powered A8L producing 450 horsepower helped to strengthen the A8 lineup.

Audi Canada sales for the month of December were 424 units. This figure was helped by the launch of the all-new A6 in the last quarter of 2004.
