Jurgen Pippig New Head of Communication Motorsport

Pippig will take over as Head of Communication Motorsport at AUDI AG as of 1 April, 2005. Consequently, he is responsible for the communication activities of Audi in the German Touring Car Masters DTM, as well as for activities to do with Le Mans.

Fifty-year-old Jurgen Pippig worked at Porsche AG since 1984; his last position there was Head of Product Communication and Motorsport Communication.

Peter Oberndorfer (48), who has been responsible for Motorsport Communication up to now, will concentrate his efforts at AUDI AG in the future on the coordination of communication activities within the Audi brand group, which also includes its sister brands Seat and Lamborghini.
