DUBWARS 2005

The 2005 version of DUBWARS was moved to the California Speedway in Fontana, CA, which was exactly where AudiWorld was on the main show day of June 5th. The move - away from Buttonwillow - was a welcome change for many since the the location is much more central and cooler temperatures would generally prevail. We were in fact pleased to find a comfortable show day with light overcast, but mostly sunny skies.

Owners came out from many western States sporting both lightly and heavily modified cars. Some were there to compete in the car show and autocross. The most crowd pleasing event was the "Hooliganism" contest in which competitors flogged their cars on the expansive asphalt.

Tuners and clubs were very well represented at the event, which made for a great day conversing with friends and aftermarket parts representatives. DUBWARS continues to grow and is becoming a SoCal must attend for Audi / VW enthusiasts.
