  • Audi ensures action on and alongside the track
  • 15 days until the start of the 2006 DTM

On Sunday, the 2006 DTM will be presented on the famous "Ko" boulevard in Dusseldorf. Protagonists of the event will not only be Audi’s newcomer Heinz-Harald Frentzen and his colleagues from the DTM drivers’ squad. The supporting musical programme will be performed by ex-Spice Girl Melanie C and the Irish-German cult band, "Reamonn”, who are going to present the new official DTM song, "Starting to live”, for the first time.

The show will give the audience a foretaste of what each DTM race weekend has in store – and this is a lot more than "just” racing. The DTM is an event for the whole family offering three days of variety galore on and alongside the race track. Included are concerts, autograph sessions, motorcades and many other attractions.

A popular place during the races is the "Audi Fantreff" where Audi fans meet to find regularly scheduled autograph and talk sessions with the Audi drivers. Closer yet to the action will be those fans who book the Audi DTM VIP Package. In addition to grandstand tickets, paddock tickets and a VIP parking permit it admits the holder to the exclusive Audi lounge. An opportunity to experience the DTM live on location at a real bargain price is available through the Audi DTM Fan Package. For roughly 50 euros it comprises a grandstand and paddock ticket for three days as well as an exclusive fan gift. VIP and Fan Packages can be ordered on the Internet at www.audi-dtm.de or by calling the Audi DTM ticket hotline on +49 (0) 841 / 8947777.
