“Master of Excellence” for Audi MediaServices
Audi MediaServices has passed its “Master” examination. Audi Communication’s reoriented and redesigned media interface on the Internet has received the highest award, the “Master of Excellence”, in the competition “Corporate Media – The European Masterclass”. This entitles Audi MediaServices to inclusion in the “European Masterclass 2006”. As the best entry in the “Public Relations” category of the competition, Audi MediaServices was the sole recipient of an additional jury award for outstanding achievement.
Awards in the “Corporate Media” competition are among the most prestigious accolades in the European communications industry. Since 1989, around 3,400 media solutions have applied for exclusive entry to the European Masterclass. This year, the organisers again received more than 100 entries in the 13 competition categories.
The competition is unique as far as its approach is concerned: the jury members – experts from the various sectors of the media industry – carry out extensive individual analyses of the projects and concepts submitted, draw up strengths and weaknesses profiles and award points based on an objective assessment system. Only the best solutions in all categories of the competition are awarded the “Master of Excellence” certificate and are included in the “European Masterclass”.
Greater output with lower consumption – this is the message of Audi MediaServices, which went live in September of this year. Audi Communication’s redesigned Internet site has been radically realigned in terms of its operation. Audi MediaServices has significantly increased the quantity of materials offered: Journalists from printed and online media, TV and radio can now access more than 5,300 photos, text, audio and video documents to assist their communications work relating to Audi and the company’s products.
