International Sponsorship Award for Audi

  • Jury impressed by cooperation between partners

    Audi has received the international sponsorship award in the category media sponsorship from FASPO, a German trade association for sponsorship and special forms of advertising. The award recognizes Audi’s involvement with the mygolf.de Internet platform. The jury praised the cooperation between both partners as well as the intelligent and harmonious integration of the Audi brand within mygolf.de. A total of 60 projects competed for the award in the media sponsorship category. The award was accepted in Hamburg by Florian Gräf who works in the department “Marketing Communications – Germany” at AUDI AG. “With mygolf.de as our partner, we reach a target group of great interest to Audi – one that’s distinguished by high standards, passion and style,” Gräf said. “And mygolf.de will continue to play an important part in Audi’s golf strategy in the future.”

    The partnership between Audi and deutsche golf online GmbH has existed for four years now. More than 150,000 golfers now use the Internet platform.

    Golf plays a central role in AUDI AG’s involvement in worldwide sponsorship. Audi has been involved in golfing for almost two decades now. As well as the newest partnership with the HypoVereinsbank Ladies German Open, sponsorship of the Omega European Masters and the Irish Open, and support of famous individual tournaments, there is also the Audi quattro Cup – one of the most popular amateur golfing tournament series in the world – and the Audi Ladies Cup. Both of these tournament series are staged in cooperation with Audi partners.
