If it's January then two things are certain in Detroit: it's very cold outside and the auto show is coming to town. And NAIAS is not just any show, but one of the big ones, meaning Audi usually makes it count.

The cat was out of the bag before journalists got on planes, with the new V10 R8 5.2 FSI and the A7 concept (dubbed the Audi Sportback concept) expected to be shown. The A7 has been rumored for at least two years, so it was interesting to finally see the details on the Sportback concept that will undoubtedly form the foundation for the A7 when it is debuted in production form next year.
