Audi wins 2013 Auto Trophy Classic

The 1983 Audi Rallye quattro A2 was voted number one in the Motorsport category in the 2013 Auto Trophy Classic contest. This car – which Hannu Mikkola drove to victory in the first Rally World Championship for all-wheel-drive vehicles – captured 33.2 percent of votes to finish ahead of the Renault Alpine A110 (13.9 percent) and the Porsche 956 (13.8 percent). Readers voted in five categories of ten vehicles each.

2013 marks the first time that Auto Zeitung Classic Cars magazine has held the Auto Trophy Classic contest. Results were based on voting by more than 23,500 readers.
