The information below mainly shows the available option packages, although some standard equipment items have been listed also. This is not a complete listing of standard equipment.
Pricing for these models most likely will be announced sometime late in the summer or early fall of 1999. Until AoA announces the prices and specifications for the 2000 models AudiWorld, and most likely your dealer, will not have any further information.
Please remember that AoA could change these specifications without notice.
Quick Notes:
SIDEGUARD Curtain airbag available on all models
Audi Navigation System available on all models (AudiWorld believes that this Navigation system is the basic Audi Navigation system which uses the Trip Computer for the display. This version does not have the 5" screen in the center console)
Trip computer is now stardard equipment on A4 models.
All models, exept the TT, will receive the Symphony 2-DIN radio with cassette and 1-disc CD-player as standard equipment.
Volcano Black has been renamed Ebony Pearl Effect.
A4's get a new Cool Shades color - India Red.
A4's get the Homelink Remote Transmitter and auto dimming outside and inside mirrors with the Convenience Package.
A4's get new 10 spoke Alloy wheels for the sport package (no solid information on the actual design of the wheel)
Xenon Headlights are now an option on the A4 models.
Talisman Green Metallic and Trapper Yellow is no longer available for the TT Coupe (they were listed in a early brochure).
5-speed manual transmission now available on A6 2.8 sedans
Audio steering wheel controls available on the A6.
The A6 2.7T and A6 4.2 have been added to the model line up.
All A6 models and the A8 receive an Acoustic Parking System option.
Ming Blue Pearl Effect added to the A6 colors.
FWD and 3.7 engine no longer available on the A8.
A8 4.2 increased to 310 hp.
Leather headliner/hatshelf available in A8.
