Audi owners now have the ability to purchase two vehicle protection products directly from participating, authorized Audi dealerships, providing supplementary peace of mind during vehicle ownership. Audi Pure Protection Extended Service Contract: An extended service contract is an optional vehicle coverage plan that pays for the repair of specific mechanical components in the event of breakdown. It does not replace Audi's limited warranty, which comes with the vehicle - it offers "manufacturer-like" coverage that supplements the warranty. Audi Pure Protection Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP): GAP provides the customer protection, in the event of a theft or total loss, against any shortfall between his/her insurance company's "actual cash value" settlement and the payoff amount of the car. Audi Pure Protection Extended Service Contract Audi Pure Protection Extended Service Contracts may be purchased on any Audi vehicle as long as any of the original 4 year/50,000 limited manufacturer warranty remains. Customers may choose among 3 plan levels: Silver, Gold or Platinum, with Platinum covering the most mechanical components. A variety of deductible options and terms are available with each plan. Audi Pure Protection Guaranteed Asset Protection Audi Pure Protection GAP can be purchased at any participating, authorized Audi dealership at the time of vehicle purchase. Audi Financial Services includes GAP in all leases at no additional charge to the customer. Therefore, Audi Pure Protection is not available for sale on Audi Financial Services leases.
