Product Description: A piece of blue playdough-like stuff that you would never think
to clean a car with.

This is the bomb if you have serious crap on your car.  I bought my car (used) via auto-trader, and being my first Audi loved it.  However, there were tiny specks of green paint that the dealer who inspected the car didn't mention.  "No big one, I'll just wash it well," me thinks.  Nothing would budge the spots: mineral oil, paint thinner, VMP naptha, paste wax, Quick Detailer, all matter of soap.  So I bought a Meguires Clay Bar, having seen ads for a different type. Still no luck. I took the car to a body shop for some work (moron auto transport company damaged rocker panel), and while there, ask about the specks.  The service writer thought it was bridge paint.  He calls over a tech, who asks me what I have tried.  I went through the litany, including the clay bar.  He asks what brand.  I am now wondering how many brands of clay bar are out there?  Anyway, I tell him a he says "no that won't work, this is what you need..."  and he produces the blue wonder goo from his pocket. Now I am thinking, this guy walks around with this stuff in his pocket?  Well he proceeded to demonstrate it, using glass cleaner to lubricate, and it works!!!  Now, he was nice enough to give me a fistfull of the stuff and tells me it is Clay Magic. So I don't know what it costs.  I do know this.  I used it w/ Meguires Quick Detailer and rubbed like hell, and it took the specks off.  Additionally, the paint is literally as smooth as glass.  You rub until it gets slightly dirty, then kneed the stuff, folding the dirty part inside.  Keep it warm, as it makes it more pliable, and use patience and elbow grease.  Definite one section-a-day type thing.  And... WAX after using, because it takes everything off.  It worked, and left no scratched or swirls on my silver finish.  As I said... its the bomb.  www.clay-magic.com HD Cleanse is a cleaner.
