Turtle Wax Scratch & Swirl Remover

Make & model of car the product was used on: 2000 A4 1.8tqms

I recently followed the directions on audiworld to "debadge" the "A4" and "1.8T" badges on the back of the car, agreeing with many readers that the car looks much cleaner without these badges. However, I was a bit too aggressive with the cloth and bug-remover products in getting all that darned foam-rubber off the back of the car, and managed to leave faint scratches in the clearcoat around the outlines of the badges, so you could just read A4 and 1.8T in the outlines of the scratches.

After contemplating throwing myself off a bridge for scratching my new car, I decided to visit the local auto-parts store instead. The guys there recommended the turtle wax scratch & swirl remover for my problem...

So, since it was a nice sunny evening, I went home, washed the car, and tested this stuff out. I applied it with a slightly damp folded paper towel. After 2 applications with moderate buffing, the scratches were completely removed, without any damage to the clearcoat or paint whatsoever. It looks like the badges had never been put on by the factory at all.

I then tried it out on a couple minor scratches in the bumper, which it fixed just as quickly. This is really a great product in that even an idiot like me can't manage to damage my car when I use it.
