I spent this afternoon detailing my car. My weekly wash regimen of P21S wheel cleaner and Zymol Clear autobath was suplemented by a thorough cleaning of the paint with HD cleanse and waxing with Creme wax. The HD Cleanse is amazing, it applied easily and came off just as easily, taking with it bugs and other road debirs which had previously seemed at one with the paint. It left the paint feeling noticeably smoother. A bit of tree sap, or something which had hardened onto my paint was easily removed. This provided an excellent base on which to apply the Creme wax. However, I only did the hood, mirrors, and leading edge of the roof since the rest of the car had no noticeable stains. In retrospect I should have done the entire car as it made application of the wax much smoother and easier. All in all, an excellent product which is heartily recomended.

The Creme wax (Zymol's carnuba wax for light colored cars) was extremely easy to apply, especially on areas cleaned with the HD Cleanse. However, it required a bit of effort to remove. I found the best method was to apply a VERY light coat to an area (1X1 to 2X2 feet), wait about 20 seconds, remove the excess with one terry cloth towel, then buff with a second towel. The shine seems quite good and the entire process, including washing, took just over 4 hours. If you're willing to put the time and energy into it this product offers excellent results, and though a bit more expensive than some waxes (~$33 for a small jar) is a relative bargain when one considers that so little is needed to do the entire car that one jar will last quite a while.
