I got my Neuspeed short shifter installed yesterday.  It was purchased through Greedspeed.  Great prices, great services.  Definitely recommend.

The installation was pretty straight forward.  My friend helped me install it, and it took roughly an hour, maybe a little longer because we had to buy a hex socket for one of the bolts.  If you have the right tools, you will blow through this installation.

After getting it installed, all I can say is WOW.  The shifting is precise, smooth, and overall feel/quality of the car is MUCH improved. If anyone has been contemplating on whether or not to buy the Neuspeed Short Shifter, remove all doubts and buy it!  I was thinking about the
UUC shifter, but I talked some people and they said they were having problems with it (Not adjusted correctly?)  The shifter is lower, and IMO a lot more comfortable.  I have heard rumors about people saying the Neuspeed shifter would make the OEM shift boot not fit correctly. Absolute rumor, fits fine.  I personally hated the stock shifter, I thought I was rowing a boat every time I shifted.

The location of the shift knob is in perfect harmony with the car now. With the old shifter it just didn't look right, the shift knob sits too high.  I guess you don't notice it until you get the short shifter. Definitely looks better.
