The upgraded throttle bodies are probably the most cost effective mods for getting better response from the 12v 2.8l V6.

The wider primary and secondary openings significantly improve airflow, and revised butterfly valves allow for faster throttle response. The stock throttle body is set to open the secondary butterfly at 2/3 throttle, but the upgraded ones open as early as 1/3rd, giving better response. They also help eliminate a flat spot in the torque curve at 4,000 rpm, and seem to move the "sweet spot" of the torque curve down to about 3300 rpm.

At $350 it is worth it. The manufacturer claims of 1-1.5s off of 0-60 times are a bit optimistic, but my car was consistently 0.5 sec faster in 0-60 per my G-tech Pro.
