Product Description: Audi Eurosport sport lowering springs. They lower the car 30-35 mm from stock non-sport height. Part Number 8D4-071-677-A-DSP

Well, I got my car back from 1552 Design here in the DC area, with the Eurosport Springs installed on my stock-non sport dampers (part number 8D4-071-677-A-DSP).

I was very happy when I saw my car. It went from looking almost like an Audi Allroad (what with all that wheel gap) to looking so sporting! I could only fit 2 fingers into the gap between the fender and the tire. The look is noticeably lower than the stock sport suspension as well as that on the Audi S4.

As for ride quality/performance, let me allay everyone's fears and say right off the bat, that the car does NOT handle like a pogo stick. You definitely feel more of the bumps and undulations than you would with a stock setup, but this would be true even if one were to use sport dampers (i.e. Bilsteins, or stock sports), and the difference is marginal at best IMO, so there's nothing really to worry about in this regard. I did some cruising on the highway as soon as I got the car back, and it handled all the undulations and minor bumps about the same as my stock setup, with maybe a slight increase in "bounciness."

Overall, I'm elated with this setup, mainly because the car looks amazing now, especially with 17" S4 wheels on, but also because it ended up not being a "pogo stick" of a ride. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. If you can, get these springs with sport shocks, but if you don't feel like spending that extra 500 or more, you can get away with it without any problems as far as street driving goes.
